General Specifications

Dizayn in pipe pipes are used in mobile heating systems and mobile sanitary installation systems. In the mobile heating systems and mobile sanitary installation systems, because of the advantages provided by the pex-b pipes, it is applied by covering inside sheath (spiral pipe) by a plumber. Dizayn Group covers the pex-b pipe inside the sheath during the production stage with its developed technology and has given pipe in pipe name to this technology. Pipe in pipe products are submitted to the customers with 2 alternatives as oxygen blocked pex-b plus pipe and pex-b plus pipe.

Where and How To Use

The product is used in mobile sanitary installation systems and mobile heating systems. By courtesy of the oxygen barrier, the oxygen transmission is provided according to DIN 4726 standards. The main advantages of the covering pipe (spiral pipe) are as follows;
1. The heat is transferred to the radiator without any loss of track by the airspace in between covering pipe (spiral pipe) and the pex-b pipe.
2. The covering pipe (spiral pipe) prevents the pipe to be damaged by sharp substances during sanitary installation applications.
3. After using the installation, when a leakage occurs in the pipe for any reason in time, the pex pipe is pulled from the cover and without making any breakage process, the new pipe is placed in the covering pipe.

Collectors are used in mobile heating/sanitary installation systems. The collectors work as a distributor in the sanitary installations, and distibutor and collector in the heating installations. In the mobile heating systems, an independent warm water input and output can be provided for each radiator thus this allows the thermal capacities to be higher than the classical heating systems.

Things to be Considered

A support block must be used behind the corner product on 90° turns under the collector input and output. This support block is the breaking point on expansion during heating cooling. The support block does not allow breaking as preventing the expansion.
The entrance nozzles of the valves near radiator have to look downwards. Thus montage is ensured by pipe making an angle of 90°. If the nozzle faces the wall, the angle is 180°. Such turn is suitable for the pipe structure on a small diameter. This condition composes a high tension on pipe molecules and reveals a weak point. As it can cause cracking on pipe depending on the environment conditions, uncontrolled increases on pressure and heat can cause blasting.
When the casing pipes are furnished no sharp turns shall be made. If it is made new pipe can not be placed in the casing on pipe changing.
Pex pipes are not such kinds of pipes which can show resistance to the sunlight. Thus during the storage, it should not to be exposed to direct sun light.

Service Life

It is under 50 years of guarantee with usage on 20 °C under 12,5 bar pressure. When the graphics inside the standard of the product are evaluated, 50 years life time is observed on 95 °C under PN11.

This value depends on the pumping power. In here the lengths of the pipes coming out of the collector must be considered. If not considered there happens to be short circuit. In this system performing the valve adjustment according to 7,5 lt/h fluid per part from each nozzle is important more than the length of pipe. This is ensured by the small debit measurers placed on the system.
